These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in The Manse Method® practitioner training, associated services, and the use of related materials provided by The Manse Method® (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking, purchasing, or participating in a course, whether online or in person, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of this agreement:

“The Manse Method®” refers to the proprietary emotional transformation technique developed by Kim and Carl Dourish.
“Course” or “Training” refers to any practitioner training, online or in-person, offered by us.
“Digital Content” means online course materials, downloads, recordings, or other resources supplied as part of the course.
“Participant”, “you”, or “your” refers to any individual booking, attending, or accessing training or related materials.

2. Our Services

We provide training designed to teach individuals how to use The Manse Method® within their professional practice. Training is delivered either online or in person and includes theoretical instruction, practical demonstration, and supervised practice.

We reserve the right to make changes to course content, schedules, or trainers where necessary. Such changes will not materially affect the overall value or purpose of the training.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Bookings are confirmed only once full payment is received or a payment plan has been agreed.

3.2 Payment must be made in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise stated. All prices include VAT where applicable.

3.3 If you enter into a payment plan, you agree to make all instalments on time. Failure to do so may result in suspension or cancellation of your training access.

4. Course Participation

4.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet any pre-requisites (if applicable) and are able to participate fully in the course.

4.2 You agree to participate respectfully, maintain confidentiality, and follow all reasonable instructions from trainers.

4.3 We reserve the right to remove participants from a course without refund if behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate, or breaches these Terms & Conditions.

5. Intellectual Property & Use of The Manse Method®

5.1 All course content, materials, logos, trademarks, and intellectual property relating to The Manse Method® are the exclusive property of Kim and Carl Dourish.

5.2 Practitioner Licence and Annual Renewal
Completion of the course grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use The Manse Method® with clients as a Certified Manse Method® Practitioner. This licence is subject to annual renewal and approval by us to ensure the continued quality, integrity, and safe application of the method.

Annual renewal may include, but is not limited to:

Submission of case studies or client session reports.
Submission of two demonstration videos showing correct use of the method.
Evidence of continued professional practice.

We reserve the right to withhold, suspend, or revoke certification if:

You do not complete the annual renewal requirements.
Your use of The Manse Method® is inconsistent with your training.
Your conduct is unethical, harmful, or damaging to the reputation of the method or brand.

5.3 You are strictly prohibited from reproducing, teaching, licensing, distributing, or selling The Manse Method® techniques, course materials, or any part of the training without our explicit written consent. Breach of this clause may result in legal action and the immediate termination of certification.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. This section sets out your rights and obligations regarding cancellations and refunds.

6.1 Cancellations by You

More than 30 days before the course start date: Full refund (minus transaction fees).
14–30 days before the course start date: 50% refund.
Less than 14 days before the course start date: No refund. However, you may transfer your booking to a future course or another person at our discretion.

6.2 Transfers

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your booking to a future course date or another participant. All transfer requests must be made in writing at least 7 days before the start date.

6.3 Cancellations by Us

In the unlikely event that we must cancel or reschedule a course, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to another date. We are not liable for any additional expenses incurred (e.g. travel, accommodation, loss of income).

6.4 Digital Content

Due to the nature of digital content, once access to online materials is granted, refunds are not available except as required by law. By accessing digital materials, you waive your 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

7. Liability

7.1 Our courses are educational and designed for professional development. While The Manse Method® is a powerful technique for emotional transformation, we make no claims regarding specific outcomes or guarantees of results.

7.2 You accept full responsibility for your own wellbeing and for the ethical and appropriate use of The Manse Method® in your professional practice.

7.3 Except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, damage, or costs arising from your participation in training or use of materials.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal information and complying with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and relevant ICO guidance. Please review our [Privacy Policy]([insert link]) for details on how we collect, use, and store your data.

9. Certification and Use of Title

9.1 Successful completion of the course entitles you to refer to yourself as a Certified Manse Method® Practitioner, subject to annual renewal (see Section 5.2).

9.2 This certification allows you to use The Manse Method® with clients but does not grant you permission to teach the method, deliver training, or certify others.

9.3 We reserve the right to revoke certification if these Terms & Conditions are breached or if your conduct is deemed to damage the reputation of The Manse Method®.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and any disputes arising from them are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
